Volume 1, Number 2

(announcements are hyperlinked – click on them to go to the related website)

CIES Members:

This is the second of the periodic bulletins - something new to CIES. This has turned out to be rather popular and, hence, we are getting an increasing number of requests. While we recognize that we are just beginning to fill an overwhelming need of CIES members, we ask that you bear with us in its development. Our planned resources are beginning to be rather stretched with this and other expanded electronic services. Below are the instructions for getting something into the bulletin.

The CIES Secretariat

How to get your announcement in the next bulletin:

1.                  The announcement must be submitted by a bona fide CIES member.  Membership must appear on the CIES membership directory listed at www.cies.ws.  (If you believe you are a member and are not listed in the online membership directory, contact: subscriptions@press.uchicago.edu).

2.                  You must submit three pieces of information:

a.      A two-line (30 words or less) announcement title (as you wish it to appear in the bulletin).
b.
A begin and end date for the announcement (we'll include the announcement in future bulletins until your end date or until the editors feel it has run its course).
c.     A URL which links to details of the announcements (CIES organizational news can be formatted by the Secretariat.  If you have no URL, send the text and we'll format the announcement).

3.                  Submit to: secretariat@cies.ws
