CALL FOR PAPERS: Special Issue of the Comparative Education Review on the theme of “Education in Islam: Myths and Truths.” Date of publication will be August 2006 and deadline for submitting manuscripts is 1 August 2005. Elections: CIES Elections will be held in early January and will, once again, be held electronically. Here's what you need to do in order to vote:

 

1. Make sure that your name and email address are correct on the CIES web site (click here).
2. Contact UC Press if you need to make corrections or renew your membership (click here).

3. Paper ballots will be substituted under certain conditions, contact UC Press (click here).

 

Balloting will begin in early January. You will be sent a username and password by email. There will be a link on the CIES homepage for information on the slate of candidates and a link to the URL for voting. If you have any trouble with voting, contact, UC Press.
